Week 4-5 September 25 - October 6, 2023
With a firm handle on Mendelian genetics we will move on to exploring natural selection before heading into the interesting modern world of artificial selection. Outings to the forests of Cumberland to play disc golf and hiking at Seal Bay will allow students to observe the diversity that results from natural selection.
As part of our week of Truth and Reconciliation we will also be talking about and trying some Indigenous Science. On Wednesday we head out on our habitat restoration and flyfishing trip to the Oyster River.
