Week 5 - February 28-March 4, 2022
After finishing our Genetics Final Projects we will be reviewing concepts and knowledge from Chemistry in Science 9. We will look at the sub-atomic structure of matter, (what the heck is a gluon?), and familiarize ourselves with the Periodic Table of Elements. Models like Bohr and Lewis will help to learn about why atoms and ions combine the way they do and clarify the difference between covalent molecules and ionic compounds. Near the end of the week we will do our Lab Safety and Orientation to be prepared for a lab on Friday.
