Week 5 - October 3-7, 2022
Now that we have a good foundation in Genetics and an understanding of heredity we will explore some of the contemporary issues in Genetics. We will explore different perspectives and arrive at personal conclusions on issues like GMO foods, designer babies and the future of medicine.
On Thursday we are heading out to do some paddling in Dragon Boats. Building up to the experience we will learn about many of the important aspects of getting out on the water and being safe in water sports. The Comox Valley has so many diverse options for exploring both the freshwater and marine ecosystems.
