Week 11 - November 21-26, 2021
Beginning with Plankton and Primary Production in the world's oceans we will work our way up the trophic pyramid towards a fuller understanding of marine ecology. Understanding interconnectedness and energy movement throughout the web of life in the ocean can help us to see where we as humans can improve the sustainability of our harvest. A look at marine plastics, macro and microscopic, will also reveal our impacts on the ocean and our need to reduce our use of synthetic compounds.
