Week 1-2 - September 6-16, 2022
The first few days we will talk about what is important to us through an environmental lens and discuss our social connections to each other and nature. We will begin with an exploration of different Ways of Knowing, the concept of Worldview and the many facets of learning.
Our introduction to our environmental journey will examine Terrestrial Freshwater. At a biologically, social, microscopic, atomic and sub-atomic level water is extremely complex and without it Life would not exist. Ecological connections to water will be observed while mapping the riparian features of Towhee Creek. Many beings depend on freshwater and an understanding of the whole can help guide us to make better decisions for the future.
